| Underwater Cave
YOU MUST HAVE THE UNDERWATER BREATHING ABILITY TO COME HERE. The beauty of this cave is unmatched by the surface, but it is pretty dark... oh, and look at the rotting corpses here! Ew, it stinks, badly. And - OH, THE FLESH JUST FELL OFF! Ugh... okay, seriously, there are some jewels near the back of the cave. Now don't leave me to drown!

| Cave Tunnels
This underground chain of caves was the Head Quarters of the group Silent Darkness. There are holes in the ceiling so light can get in. The tunnel of caves is huge, and so it is easy to get lost in here.

| Greenwood Forest
No, the trees here don't have green wood. They just have moss on the bark and rich green colored leaves. This forest is full of shadows, and is very humid; but it doesn't really rain here. No one really knows why, because it's right by the ocean.

| Whitesand Beach
This beach truly has white sand, but the sand is more of a cream color than anything else. There are large hunks of ivory in the ground if you want to look; but most don't, as the island is said to be sacred or something of the like.

This is a deep ocean. The only way to get around in it is by boat or by swimming, but there never was a need to have or use a boat, so that's out of the question. So, the ocean surrounds the small island and there was no one way about it.

| Master Emerald's Temple
The Master Emerald lies here, in a temple. In the middle of the temple is an altar. The middle altar carries the Master Emerald, which happens to not be broken yet, and then there are seven smaller altars around the Master Emerald. They are to carry the Chaos Emeralds, but none have been collected yet. Also, in another room, there are the Super Emeralds, but they haven't been touched or seen in years. The exterior of the temple is over-grown and covered with vines. Also, the place is lit by shards of the chaos emeralds.

| Look-out Towers
This is the look-out tower. There are twenty-four shifts, each one changing every hour. The whole point of the tower is to watch for trespassers, and then a signal is given out, sending out groups to attack the intruders if they appear aggressive.

| Rain Forest
The lush Rain Forest is hard to navigate through if you are not of the Echidna tribe, but the tribe decided to build paths, both true paths and false ones, to make it confusing. There are 12 paths in all; but only four are actually right.

This is the border of the old civilization. It is highly regarded by the Echidna Tribe, and thusly is almost never crossed by them. The rocks here are very unique, and some hold bits of the past on them.

| Snow Cave
Just a bit farther down from the Snow Cap is the Snow Cave. It's a cave, and easily accessible, just so as long as an avalanche didn't happen. It's hard to see from afar.

| Snow Cap
This is the top of the mountain, and it's freezing. No, really, it is! However, it can be fun to mess around here, as you won't really be affected by any avalanches. The cap of the mountain is covered with snow, and it's also hard to breathe here, because of how high up it is.

The mountain-side here is the only place with trees. The trees here are mainly ever-greens, and more specifically, the trees are Fir Trees. There are some wolves here as well, but there are so few of them.

| Rocky Pit
This is the bottom of the mountain, and though it is still noticeably cold, the caves here are tight and compact. Talk about the past... either way, the Rocky Pit is the most dangerous place, as the avalanches affect this place the most.

| The Summit
The Summit, I have to say, is very cold. Colder than Mutiny's Peak. So, it snows all the time here, let me tell you. In fact, I'm confused as to why it's so freezing - but the view of the sky's pretty neat, considering that it's clear. It's perfect for a base, if you don't want others to come. A downfall is the number of ice mountains and glaciers here.

| Frozen Waterfall
If you're a thrill-seeker like me, this would be the perfect place to go - if it weren't so freaking cold. You can fly off the ice of this waterfall, or you could launch yourself out into space and never come down again and die. Trust me, I've done it before. It's fun. Anyways, behind the waterfall is this tunnel that leads to a palace or something. I don't know, and I don't really care, either.

| The Lake
Feel like playing King of the Hill? Well... here's an okay place to kill yourself. The water in the lake has frozen over, but I like slipping around on it. Now, if you break the ice, you'll land into the water, of course. Duh. I don't really love this place as much as I do Ivory Coast. There is the possibility of a Chaos Emerald being here, too... I stole Tails' Chaos Emerald Radar once, and it went wild here.

| Ice Palace
Behind the Frozen Waterfall and past the tunnel leads to here, the Ice Palace. This place is truly made out of ice; every corridor, every door, every altar, every chair, every everything, is made out of ice. Hey, even the best extreme gear is made totally out of ice! There seems to be some secret corridor here, too, but I wouldn't be able to find it, with or without the Chaos Emerald Radar.

| Dusk Pyramid
The base of the the old group just happens to be an easily navigated pyramid. Despite the easy ways to infiltrate it, the heat inside during the day is simply unbearable, and so actually, it happens to be safe. However, when it is night, it is cooler.

This is the best place to be during the day, really, granted if it leaves any shadows. This place seems to be the only area in the desert with plants. The creek here is also seems to be the only area in the desert that hasn't dried up.

| Sandy Canyon
The Sandy Canyon is beautiful, especially at night during the full moon. It is colorful in a way, but is very dangerous; an ideal place for a fight to the death. If you climb down, it can be seen that there is a river down below; but you have to search for it.
